Happy 3rd Birthday Durant!

One year ago today Matt and I saw a picture of our little boy for the very first time! As most parents will agree, there is nothing like seeing your child for the first time whether they are fresh out of the womb or have lived life a little bit already. It's a day we will always remember.
So today we get to celebrate Durant! We are so blessed to have him be apart of our family forever. It's been a great last 8 months having him home with us. He has grown a lot and is learning to trust us more everyday.


Durant is a blast to be around!! We love watching him fall in love with his brother and sister. Listening to him talk is the cutest thing ever and you can't help but smile at the way he has to RUN everywhere! He fits perfectly into the middle of our family!

So today he gets his very first birthday celebration and tomorrow night he gets his very first birthday party and his very first birthday cake - Lighting McQueen of course(or Yitning as Durant calls him).

What's New....

Okay so I have to admit it's tough to keep up on this blog while trying to do all the KVI stuff. So I thought I'd just do a quick update to let you all know what we've been up to and that we are still the crazy family we've always been. Here's some cute pictures from the last couple of weeks....

Super Bowl Sunday!!

Yesterday we had a Super Bowl party of five!! It was fun just hanging out as a family and watching the game. Of course we had to have all the good foods for a good party, chips and dip, pizza, cookies, and pop!!
