Minnesota Zoo

Back in August we went to the Minnesota Zoo with Matt's sister and family! I guess this post didn't make the blog. So here are some pictures from that trip!

Last Minute Shot!

I just wanted to share this cute picture of the kids! Sometimes (well, actually most of the time) the quick shots turn out to be my favorites!! This was taken just a few minutes before we walked out the door to take the kids to school. Aren't they the cutest?

New Home!

Not for us, but for my Mom!!! She just started to move into her new home today!! It's a really cute cozy home perfect for her!!!

Ana's first full day of school!

Here's a couple pictures of Ana first day of school, not just the orientation day!!

She was a little nervous at first (notice the nuk), but warmed up quickly. She had a great first day her teachers said. She ate snack, had a fire drill and sat down when it was time to sit!! Wow!! Pretty impressive!!

Carter's first football game!

Tuesday night Carter had his very first flag football game. He did a really good job and had a lot of fun too!! The best part is one of the assistant coaches is Matt!! Hard to tell who was more excited about the first game, Matt or Carter!! Matt has dreamed of the day he could coach his son in a sport so this was a special moment for him!

Looking forward to the other games! Way to go number 66!!

Ana's first day of school!

Ana had her first day of school today. It was an orientation for just an hour and Ana had a fun time. She was hugging Carter good bye before he left for school on her first day of school.






She was so excited to go to school and was proud to bring her backpack into the building. This is Ana walking into the building at her new school!

First Day of Preschool!

Today was Durant's first day of preschool! He has been so excited all summer long. It was really fun to see him waiting with his backpack to go to school just like Carter. Before we could go though we had to drop Carter off at his first full day of second grade!!!









Carter had a great first day. He met a few new friends and still says his teacher is awesome!!!








Durant had a great first day of preschool. I asked him what he did and he said, "I had juice, cheese, and crackers. I played with the train. I wore a thing around my neck with a frog on it"!

Sounds like he had a lot of fun!

First day of Second Grade!!

Here are some pictures of Carter's orientation day at school. The first full day is tomorrow, but here are some fun pictures of his room, teacher, and walking to school!





I can't believe I have a 2nd grader!!! Carter is so excited to get back to school. He said he's really looking forward to seeing his friends again. When I asked him about his teacher, Mrs. Johnson, he said, "She's awesome"!
