We took the kids out to eat at Red Robin to celebrate and then to the Jabali Afrika concert, Kenya's Afro-fusion music group. It was a lot of fun! The kids really enjoyed it and even 4 out of the 5 ended up dancing up on stage!!
This was the journey of our adoption of a little boy from Ethiopia.... and then was the journey of our life as a family of five.... and then was the journey of us becoming a family of seven with two more boys.... now it is the blog of us being a family of seven waiting with confident hope to see what He has next......

6 Months Home!!
On February 2nd we celebrated 6 months of being a family of 7!! Some days it feels like we've been a family of 7 for 10 years and other times it feels like the boys just got home! Hitting the 6 month mark was a milestone I was looking forward to. Everyone is more secure with their place in the family and we all know each other a lot better now. We are still learning a lot each day but it has been a great transition overall.

I've been still following you. Meseret and Senite love coming on and seeing pictures of the boys and talk about seeing them some day. I sent you and e-mail to your KVI address because I can't find your other one. Check your KVI e-mail and maybe you can send me an e-mail with your personal e-mail address again. I'll save it this time. dokfire@comcast.net Jennifer Dokken
