This was the journey of our adoption of a little boy from Ethiopia.... and then was the journey of our life as a family of five.... and then was the journey of us becoming a family of seven with two more boys.... now it is the blog of us being a family of seven waiting with confident hope to see what He has next......

First Day of School!
Today is Carter's 1st day of First grade. Hard to believe. He was very excited to get back and see all his friends again. And they were all so excited to see him. His teacher, Mrs. Thompson, is very kind. I think they'll have a great year together.
I can't wait to meet your teacher, Carter......I'm sure you will love 1st grade...Ana and Durant will miss you but when they pick you up from school they will embrace you with such love....have a fun week.. I love you lots and lots, grandma cj
