Winter Fun!
Since it was such a beautiful day today, Matt had the great idea to go sledding!! This was the first time our family of five has ever gone sledding. It was a lot of fun. All the kids really enjoyed it.
Of course Matt and I had fun too!! Especially catching some air on the jump. It's totally worth being in pain afterwards.

We are back!!
We made it back from Ethiopia yesterday afternoon. It feels very good to be back home with Carter, Durant, and Ana. We missed them so much!
Our trip was very good. So much was accomplished while we were there and KVI has grown so much. It is amazing to see God's work first hand.
Now Matt and I have lots of work to do. We will be updating our website with a lot more accurate information. We will be working on sorting out children available for adoption as well as sponsorship. More information will become available about that on our website in the next couple of weeks!!
I know this isn't a KVI blog, but I know many of you are interested in what is happening!!
Thanks for all your support and prayers.

American Gladiators and Pizza!
All day yesterday I was excited about our family fun night of watching American Gladiators(they brought it back) and eating pizza with my family!!
Let's face it, we are not a regular family (our kids are all different ethnic backgrounds and we're starting an orphanage)so when the opportunity comes up to just be a regular family, I love it!! It's the little things in life that I love the most!
So the five of us hung out eating pizza, bread sticks, chicken strips, and watching 3 hours of American Gladiators (it was on TiVo so not really 3 hours)!!! It was great!!!

Ana's Boots!
This post really doesn't have a point except to say that Ana is in love with these pink rain boots. Her favorite thing to do with them is put them on, walk around a little bit, and then take them off, go into another room of the house and put the boots back on again!
She's the silliest girl I've ever met!! Just thought I'd share that with you all!!!
