Summer Stuff!

I don't think I ever posted how Carter felt about the last day of school.....

I think the picture says it all!!!

I have to admit I was super excited for Carter to be done with school too!!

The first three weeks of summer are already finished. It's going by super fast!! Carter has already finished swimming lessons. He passed level 2 and is feeling very excited about it!!!

That would be Carter belly flopping into the water

Carter did not pass level 2 last year so he was feeling a little bit nervous about it this summer. But he passed it with a perfect score!!

He also has finished his golf lessons for the summer. This was his first time taking golf and he really enjoyed it!! Matt and Carter got to test out his new skills on the golf course last week!

We still have many more activities planned for this summer, including bringing two new siblings into the family!! Only five more weeks until they come home!!!

On Wednesday Ana had her first Healing with Horses class! Trinity Equestrian Center did an awesome job with Ana. When we first pulled up she was so excited to see all the horses, but once we got inside right next to the horses, she got a little nervous. The staff at Trinity did an amazing job of helping Ana feel comfortable. They let her go at her own pace.
Ana first started off by getting her helmet on. She looked super cute!!

Then she practiced by sitting on a saddle that wasn't on a horse, but she was still feeling kinda nervous so the staff had Dad get on the horse. Ana was excited to ride the horse with him!! Matt did a really great job for a city boy on a horse!!! I think he even liked it a little bit!

This is Ana's horse, Turk.

First moments on Turk

Ana was pretty quiet and still while riding, but whenever they came around me she would wave and want me to take a picture!

We are looking forward to next week!!

Happy 2 yrs Durant!

Update on court.... we are postponed until Monday, June 15th.

On a happier note, Durant has been home for two years today!!! It has gone by so quickly and he has grown so much!! We love having Nati be apart of our family. He is such a fun kid to have around. He's come a long way since then. Matt and I were just talking about how when he first came home and we were playing outside, he'd only want to push his toy lawn mower around the outside of our yard. Not getting too close to us. Now he's right there in the middle of all the action, kicking the ball, or running around tackling us!!!

Our referral picture of Natnael

He has a great sense of humor and an awesome smile. He's learned so much about being apart of a family and we couldn't image our family without him in it!!!

No Court Date Today!

Sorry to leave you all hanging all day!! We were out of town all day so I wasn't able to get to a computer to post anything.

Our court date has been postponed until Monday. So good news is, it doesn't really affect any time frames and we know this is all in God's perfect timing!!!

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers today!!!

We will do a repeat Sunday night!!!
