8 years ago!

8 years ago today I had the honor of marrying the greatest man ever!!! We've been through so many life events already. Some really hard and some so amazing. It's just made us even stronger as a couple. I really didn't think there was someone else out there in this world as crazy as me. I'll always remember the first time I ever saw you.
Mattie, I love you so much. I am so proud of you. You are an amazing man and God knew that you were exactly the man I needed!!
Thank you for sharing this awesome journey of life with me (and for putting up with me). It's been a crazy ride! I can't wait to see what the next 8 years bring :)

2 months home!

It's hard to believe that it's been two months since Durant and I arrived home. In a way it feels like he's always been here. He fits in so perfectly! The transition has gone so much smoother than I was anticipating. Matt and I feel like Durant is really learning that we are his parents and he can depend on us to meet his needs and love him.
Yes, our house is a bit crazy and loud with a 6 year old and 2 two years olds, but we love it and wouldn't have it any other way!!!

More fun on Vacation...

Downtown Omaha is a really cool place filled with lots of history. We went to a part called Old Market. It's full of shops, restaurants, bookstores, and coffee shops in a historic neighborhood. That was a lot of fun to check out! The only bummer was we felt a little under-dressed.










The last day of our vacation we got to visit The Heartland of America Park in downtown Omaha. We let the kids get one last run before sitting in the car for the long ride home. It's a really pretty park full of a lot of history.

Fun on Vacation!

We had so much fun on our first ever family of five vacation! We spent 3 days in Omaha, NE! We had a really fun hotel with a kids pool. The three kids loved playing in the water. Carter is such a great swimmer and Ana and Durant are too brave for their own good!
We had so much fun at the Henry Doorly Zoo!! There are so many great animals there. We even had the opportunity to stare a Gorilla in the face!! The kids really enjoyed seeing all of the animals!!



It was so much fun having all three of our children together for a fun family vacation. They are such great kids! We made lots of good memories.

Fun in MN

We took Durant to Como Zoo and he loved it. He loves seeing all the animals and pointing at them!
Now we are all set to go to the really big Zoo in Omaha, NE. We leave in just a few days for our first ever family of five vacation!!!

After the zoo, we went to Grandma Darla's house to hang out. It was a very fun day!

Carter's Baptism

On Sunday, July 21 Matt had the honor to baptize his oldest son. Carter was so excited to take this next step in his journey with God and Jesus. We are so happy and proud to be able to parent this wonderful boy!!

We love you so much Carter and we love your compassionate, kind heart.

Action City

On Saturday we got to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday with a party at Action City. We had fun riding go karts, bumper cars, mini bowling, lots of arcade games... especially Deal or No Deal!!

It was a lot of fun!! Happy Birthday Mom (July 25th)! We love you!!!!
