Happy 3rd Birthday Ana!

Ana had a great birthday today!! We celebrated Ana turning three with family and friends!! The weather was so beautiful that Ana got to spend most of the day outside!!
It's so hard to believe that little Ana is three years old! We love you Ana so much! We have loved watching you grow and learn so much this past year. The way you love all of us and give HUGE hugs makes us all feel so special!!

We also love your free spirit!! The way you just go wherever the wind takes you is one of my favorite things about you!! Wearing rain boots on a sunny day, eating dessert first, licking the dirt just to see how it tastes, throwing your head back while you swing, and loving with your whole heart are some of my favorite things about you!!

Happy Birthday Ana!! We love you so much!!

Last day as a 2 year old!

Today is Ana's last day being 2 years old!! I can't believe my little baby will be 3 tomorrow!! Wow, time has gone by very quickly.

Ana loves to have her picture taken so when she saw me take out the camera she had a few "last day as a 2 year old" poses for me!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I'm so excited to celebrate my first Mother's Day as a Mom of three!! Being a Mom is something God placed on my heart since I was a little girl. Getting to live it out everyday is the absolute best!! I love how each of my children brings a new and different reason of why I love being a Mom!!

Carter - the way he is so confident and his compassionate heart inspires me to be more like him!

Durant - his silliness and laugh is contagious and reminds me to not take life so seriously!

Ana - her carefree spirit and they way she loves with her whole heart is something I strive for everyday

Of course, I can't celebrate this day with out thinking of Durant and Ana's birth Mom's. Two remarkably brave women who put themselves aside for the love of their children. We love you Rebekah and Emma!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Carter had his first baseball game last night!! He looked so cute in his uniform!! He was so excited to get on the field. Even Matt said he had a hard time eating lunch because of his excitement to watch his boy play ball!!!

He did an awesome job on the field and at the plate. He got up to bat 3 times and even though his first time up to bat he struck out, he made up for it the other two times. He scored both times!

Here's Carter the first time he came home! You can just tell that Carter was made to play baseball!!!
Carter had the opportunity to play several different positions. While playing shortstop Carter made a "Golden Glove" play (Carter's words for it). It was awesome. He caught the ball and threw it right to 1st base!! The entire bleacher section was cheering for Carter!!!
The final score of the game was Twins (Carter's team) 17 - 9!

Go For The Gold

On Tuesday night Carter had his school program. It was called "Go For The Gold" and it had an Olympic theme.

It was really cute and Carter did an awesome job!! He knew all the words to the songs and he even got to come out front and help hold the Chinese jump rope.

The best part was how Carter kept looking out in the audience to wave at us. He's such an awesome kid!!!

Carter's baseball

Carter had his first baseball practice last Saturday. He is so excited to finally be done with t-ball and onto coach pitch baseball!!!!

He looked great out there at practice! Way to go #7!! I think Matt was just as excited as Carter was to start the baseball season. It's been Matt's dream to watch his little boy play ball!!!

Carter LOVES baseball and would gladly play it all day long. He started carrying around his glove and ball in mid March just waiting for the weather to be nice enough to play outside.

His first game is Tuesday! Go Twins!!

I just realized I didn't put this on my blog. A couple of weeks ago, Carter, Matt, and I along with some friends went to the Timberwolves vs. Pistons game. We had a fun time and we got to eat all we wanted because of our Hungry Like a Wolf wristbands!

Carter had fun cheering on Detroit with his friends Levi and Zeke!

Nice face Carter!
